Brian, I honestly think it's faster to download the sources/javadoc through commandline and put your maven installation in 'offline' modus in m2eclipse. I have bad experiences with the m2eclipse sources- and javadocdownloader.

Thanks for the commands, Piotr.

There is also dependency:sources which is the same as resolve -Dclassifier=sources.

Honestly these are mostly super ceded these days by the IDE integration such as M2Eclipse. These were handy back in the days when the repos were unreliable and the only other way to do it was with eclipse:eclipse, but it would trash your project settings.

Or you can use this method instead of the commons class:

	public static void copy(InputStream in, OutputStream out)
 throws IOException
	{
 if (in == null)
 throw new NullPointerException("InputStream is null!");
 if (out == null)
 throw new NullPointerException("OutputStream is null");

 // Transfer bytes from in to out
 byte[] buf = new byte[1024];
 int len;
 while ((len = in.read(buf)) > 0)
 {
 out.write(buf, 0, len);
 }
 in.close();
 out.close();
	}

just use buildr (http://incubator.apache.org/buildr/):
break functionality into files, classes
write regular functions instead of macrodefs
don't need to rely on an implementation of functionality in Java as ant relies on tasks (but you can call any ant task)
user normal variables, arrays and hashes. no more property hacking!
use layouts
use extensions

Hello,

I am new to IntelliJ and using the version 7.0.3. I adjusted my vm options using the properties mentioned in idea.exe.vmoptions file. But these changes are not reflected in my IntelliJ. I even restarted my IntelliJ as well as machine but without any success. Can anyone please guide ??
